This weeks predictions - Straight Up & No Ice

Sunday October 26, 2008
Oakland 2-4 (Road: 1-2)
1:00pm ET
Baltimore 3-3 (Home: 2-1)

In what will most likely be a run first, pass hardly ever game, we like Baltimore at home...
Balt - 24
Oak - 16

Arizona 4-2 (Road: 1-2)
1:00pm ET
Carolina 5-2 (Home: 4-0)
Prolific offense versus 2nd ranked pass defense... If it were anybody but Kurt Warner we would lean towards offense, but because of ol' butterfingers taking snaps, we like Carolina to take control of the TOP and win this matchup.
Car - 28
Ariz - 24

Tampa Bay 5-2 (Road: 1-2)
1:00pm ET
Dallas 4-3 (Home: 2-1)
Intriguing matchup, between conservative and crazy... Nuff said.,...
TB - 31
Dal - 17

Washington 5-2 (Road: 2-1)
1:00pm ET
Detroit 0-6 (Home: 0-2)
Wow, not much to say here, we do think Calvin Johnson and Orlovsky will have decent fantasy days, but thats it for Detroit... I imagine they are looking forward to their pistons losing to cleveland in the playoffs again soon.
Wash - 34
Det - 21

Buffalo 5-1 (Road: 2-1)
1:00pm ET
Miami 2-4 (Home: 1-2)
In what used to be a classic matchup, this battle of the gridiron has turned in to mostly a laughable game, but with some life in the dolphins as of late we think only mild chuckles here...
Buff - 20
Mia - 17

St. Louis 2-4 (Road: 1-2)
1:00pm ET
New England 4-2 (Home: 2-1)
A rejuvenated St. Louis versus a rebuilt (notice the pun towards Brady's knee) NE team...
We think not...
NE - 30
STL - 20

San Diego 3-4 (Road: 1-3)
1:00pm ET
New Orleans 3-4 (Home: 3-1)
In a London contest that both teams must win to in essence give their fans some hope of salvaging the season, we feel SD is in a better position to take this game, but not if Drew Brees can help it...

SD - 42
NO - 36

Kansas City 1-5 (Road: 0-3)
1:00pm ET
NY Jets 3-3 (Home: 2-1)
Pure Annihalation

NYJ - 33
KC - 10

Atlanta 4-2 (Road: 1-2)
1:00pm ET
Philadelphia 3-3 (Home: 2-1)
No Mas Michael Turner, not against this matchup... Donovon will go nuts and Mattie Ryan will return to earth...
PHI - 27
ATL - 14

Cincinnati 0-7 (Road: 0-4)
4:05pm ET
Houston 2-4 (Home: 2-1)
Will the luck of Fitzpatricks Irish finally rub off on ol' Cincy... Nah... Will the WR's have a field day for both teams... Yeppers! Houston at home
HOU - 21
CIN - 20

Cleveland 2-4 (Road: 1-2)
4:05pm ET
Jacksonville 3-3 (Home: 1-2)
Alright, I'm biased here and I know I should remain impartial, but oh well, it's my blog...
CLE - 28
JAC - 27

Reality Check
JAC - 28
CLE - 24

NY Giants 5-1 (Road: 1-1)
4:15pm ET
Pittsburgh 5-1 (Home: 2-0)
Maybe the best game of the week... Two bonafide Superbowl contenders... The biggest If's are all on Pittsburghs side of the ball though and they are big! Willie Parker?? Troy Palomalu??, etc... We still believe in the Black and Gold though...
PIT - 23
NYG - 20

Seattle 1-5 (Road: 0-3)
4:15pm ET
San Francisco 2-5 (Home: 1-3)
Where to begin.... Frank Gore should retire on this game... gonna be big and Maurice Morris will cause more damage then Phillip morris... At home and with a smidge more healthy talent then Seattle...
SF - 28
SEA - 13

Monday October 27, 2008
Indianapolis 3-3 (Road: 2-1)
8:30pm ET
Tennessee 6-0 (Home: 3-0)

I'm going against the talking heads who all have Tennessee winning... I still think Peyton and D Rho are gonna get it done fast and furious...

INDY - 38
TEN - 27
